How To Play Guitar For Beginners The History…

Most beginner guitar players are learning how to play guitar conveniently online these days. That is something I would have went crazy for when I was starting out. I learned how to play guitar the hard old fashion way, you know books, records, magazines and driving across town to a private teacher and paying a hefty fee!

Back in 1998 I bought a computer so I was able to write out charts for my students as well as sheet music for the bands I was in at the time. I was on the old dial up connection and the thought of learning how to play guitar online was just a, well wasn’t even a thought!

I remember when I first got high-speed internet, I was one of the lucky ones because at that time it was Road Runner Cable and they tested in my town first around 1999! Once I connected to the internet with high-speed I can remember staying up all night working on a plan where I could at least create a course of guitar lessons for beginners.

At that time I could only really use audio and printouts to teach people how to play guitar. One reason being is that 90% of the world was still on dial up and couldn’t handle larger file downloads. Plus technology for the internet was still very new i.e. web cams, online video etc… The concept of Youtube would not even be considered!

So I learned how to build a website and I got started… As time went by well actually years, technology started to pick up and I was able to do so much more with our online guitar lessons. We were one of the very first to introduce streaming video guitar lessons as well as use the technology to design personalized guitar lesson plans for individual students at such a low cost.

So as of today we partnered with Sam Ash Music and are teaching thousands of people how to play guitar. So whether you are an advanced guitar player looking to work on more advanced chops like soloing and improvisation over complex chord progressions or if you are complete newbie we have the guitar lessons and the technology to teach you how to play guitar.

So that said if you are ready to learn how to play guitar then check out the 14 day online guitar challenge here…

How To Play Guitar - Tips For the Guitar Hero in You!

The guitar is one of the coolest instruments around. Since it is so versatile the guitar is many people want to learn how to play guitar. You can play any sort of music that fits your style whether it’s rock, country or blues or any other style. You might be interested in learning your favorite tunes or possibly you’re a undeveloped songwriter and you’d like to compose your own music. Either way, the guitar will be the ideal instrument to learn in these instances. Like all instruments, if you would like to learn how to play guitar you’ll require a lot of the 3 P’s practice, persistence and patience. Learning how to play guitar will be a real satisfying experience if you stick to it and the guitar will give you a lot of hours of enjoyment.
